Homemade Breakfast Sausage Patties

Homemade Breakfast sausage Patties
Makes approx 10 Breakfast Sausage Patties

Mark here. There’s nothing quite like going to a certain fast food restaurant after a night of fun and ordering a sausage muffin. You know the restaurant, right? I think he used to own a farm (e-i-e-i-o). Well, here in Australia, the breakfast sausage patties are made with beef and they’re great. But in America, they’re made with pork and they’re AMAZING.

Hey, Mark here, back home in the UK there are two big bakery franchises, Cooplands and Greggs. Some things I have been missing are Greggs Steak Bakes and Cooplands cheese straws. Rainbow Swiss Roll

Unicorn Swiss roll

Makes approximately 8-10 servings of Rainbow Swiss Roll
So it occurred to me the other day that I haven’t ever made a Swiss roll. So I included it in a poll vote on my Facebook page and it won! I did some recipe research to gain some inspiration as well as having my followers give me suggestions. This Rainbow Swiss Roll with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting was the end result. The sponge recipe I ended up doing was sooo fluffy, light and delicious with no need to let it cool rolled up in a tea towel!

Cincinnati Style Chilli

Cincinnati Style Chilli Recipe Serves 4
Hi everyone, Mark here. Alicia and I love spicy food and I love to make chilli (or chili if you’re American, don’t worry, I wont hold it against you, but you are wrong. Just kidding. Kinda). So, while browsing recipes for a different chilli, I came across something that looked like spaghetti bolognese. When I looked at the recipe, I decided to give it a go. I still remember the first time we made this and it was blow your head off hot! This was when we discovered that apparently American chilli powder actually contains other spices in it so it’s actually not as hot as the rest of the world’s chilli powder which is made out of only dried chilli’s. So if you’re from America and are reading this recipe and thinking “pfft 3tsp of chilli powder?” this is for Australian chilli powder (or other countries whose chilli powder is pure chilli’s) which is 8 times hotter than your chilli powder .

Monkey Bread

Monkey breadMonkey Bread Serves: 8-12

On my Facebook page, I asked my followers what they’d like to see or know how to do and one of them suggested Monkey Bread. After putting it to a vote, Monkey bread was the winner! You may ask “what is monkey bread?” to put it simply, it’s a sweet bread dough, rolled into balls, coated in cinnamon sugar and baked in a bundt pan for an easy family sharing breakfast! Read Recipe
